Monarch Morning

This painting was inspired by a flower photo my friend Karen posted on social media. I asked her if I could use her photo as a reference. Once I got approval, I combined her floral photo with an old photo I took of a monarch to create the final painting. I was pleased when the painting sold hours after I posted it to my online store.
