Sadness Series

During the U.S. election cycle of 2016, I witnessed so much division occurring in our country. My focus became internal, and I struggled with how to express it. I decided to direct my angst and sadness on the canvas, and it became very therapeutic.

These paintings are large scale – 42” at longest edge.
