Shades
I decided to paint this painting from a photo a friend of mine posted to social media. I loved the reflection in his glasses and the light hitting his face. It really made me think of summer. It took roughly 2.5 hours to complete from start to finish. Working wet on wet (alla prima) I tried not to over work the painting. I wanted it to be simplistic in form.
