Soft Grandma

This painting was commissioned. The reference photo for the painting was taken on a cell phone and did not have the best resolution. It was a challenging piece for that reason, but a wonderful piece to paint. Trying to capture a moment in time of the bond between a child and their grandparent. Right after the photo was taken Olivia exclaimed that her grandma Cheri was so soft. Thus the title for the piece.
