Tom & Gina on their wedding day

Tom commissioned this piece because he wanted to surprise Gina on their anniversary. I had wanted to do a painting using a grissaille (grayscale/monotone) technique for quite sometime. This is when you paint washes of color over a black and white drawing or painting. This painting offered the perfect opportunity and I am really happy with the final results. Gina was very surprised at receiving the gift.
