Alarmist Brewing

Orbitz App Icon Exploration

When we introduced our full product Orbitz iPhone app, I needed to explore making the app icons for both apps to work together as a "family of apps". I chose to explore both skeuomorphic designs and simple branded icons (which obviously were chosen).

Travel Weekend Bag iOS App Icon

Exploration for Orbitz Travel App icon. Before the design world embraced flat design with a vengeance, Apple was still holding strong with its skeumorphism approach to app icons. This was one attempt of creating such an icon.

Hotel Skeuomorphic App Icon and Splash Page

A Skeuomorphic approach at creating an app icon and splash screen for Orbitz Hotel only iOS app. All elements (including figures and pool water) were created by me using photoshop and illustrator.
